βοΈ Quick-Draw Detective
Play a drawing game where the computer tries to guess your doodle before you finish it. You are the detective who works out how it makes its guesses.

π What you'll discover about AI
The computer has seen millions of other people's doodles, so it learns the patterns of what a cat or a tree usually looks like. That is how it can guess yours.
π AI helpers you could use
- Quick, Draw! by Google β ask a grown-up to open this with you
- Or use your favourite drawing-guessing AI game
Tip: you can always use your favourite AI helper instead β just keep a grown-up nearby.
πͺ How to build it
Day 1
- Open Quick, Draw! and play one full round of six doodles.
- Notice the moment the computer shouts out its guess. Did it guess early or wait?
- Try drawing the same thing two ways: a tidy way and a silly way. See which one the computer recognises.
- Keep a little tally of which doodles it guessed easily and which ones puzzled it.
- Write your detective notes: what kind of drawings fooled the computer the most?
π§ͺ Researcher's question
Can you draw a real animal in a way the computer simply cannot guess? What did you change to fool it, and why do you think that worked?
